INSTRUCTIONS – English Usage and Comprehension

This section of the practice FSOT measures English usage, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation. It also measures reading comprehension, meaning understanding the content of a written passage. The text of the questions is from documents similar to those you will be required to review and proofread on the job. Note that some of the questions use the same passages and those passages will be presented for each question to which they refer.

You may change your answer by selecting a different option. There is no penalty for guessing, so you should try to answer every question.
