The table below provides estimated normative information to compare your scores (number correct) to other candidates (percentile rank) for each subtest. A percentile rank indicates the percentage of scores in a distribution that fall at or below your score. For example, if you scored at the 80th percentile on a test, it means you scored the same as or better than 80% of others who took the test.

This is important because there is no longer a specific passing score on the FSOT, but instead the highest scoring candidates will be selected to move on to subsequent stages based on hiring needs. These are estimated norms because your relative standing will be based on the other candidates that apply and changes to the test questions over time.
