The cut score has been determined and we are now in the process of notifying applicants as to whether or not they will be invited to the Diplomatic Security Oral Assessment. Due to the number of applicants to be notified it may be several weeks before you receive your notification. Please note that our assessment cycle spans at least 6 to 9 months once we begin assessing based on the number of applicants invited. We recommend adding the Department of State domain (@state.gov) as an approved sender. Thank you for your patience.

Announcements are typically once every two years so it’s unlikely that another posting will come out by the end of 2019. Best thing to do is create a profile on USAJobs and keep it updated. Create a saved search with daily notifications. Once a vacancy posting is published it’s typically open for a week only which includes getting all information and forums completed/ submitted before the deadline.
