Hello I am currently an ACNP hospital based. I am interested in a position with the Department of State but not sure if you would accept my application due to my training and experience. I was a Army medic and EMT, as well. Do you have any position I might fill or do you know of any cross training available.
    Thank you Dean Ellsworth

Hello- I’m a PA with 19 years experience- Neurosurgery- but also trauma, ER & critical care. Also in year 2 of 8 year US Army Reserves commitment. Will be 55 at the conclusion of that. Looking at Foreign medical service at that point or earlier to fulfill a wish to serve abroad utilizing my medical skills. Any options or thoughts? Thank you!

I am a PA and Paramedic with 20 years experience. I noticed the pay scale is very hard to compare to my job in the public sector. The range is wide and overall well below the industry average. Some say the benefits and “extra” pay make up the difference. How would one know exactly how to compare this? Thanks!
