Is adjudications the same as ‘final suitability review’? Or are these two separate processes?
Any advice on how long the process is currently taking? My security clearance file moved into the “Adjudication Review” status in December 2016.

They are not the same. Adjudications review follows the investigation process, and provides a recommendation to the BEX, which performs the final suitability review. In addition to the security clearance adjudication, which is the “deliverable” from the adjudication process, the final suitability review will take additional items into consideration, like credit, etc.

Thanks for the information. I’m eager for the process to move quickly, with a positive outcome, as most candidates are.
