I am Jack. First of all I wanted to thank the U.S. Department of State for taking initiative of developing the DOSCareers. It’s really a useful app which I’ve been using for a while however today when I try to open the app it’s only displaying white blank screen and automatically closing itself after few seconds. It would be really great if the developers can fix it.

GuestDec 28, 2017 at 2:31 pmPost count: 4656Hi Jack! I was encountering this very same error when I upgraded my phone to Android Oreo. I uninstalled the app, restarted my phone and reinstalled DOSCareers app from Tutuapp (hyperlink deleted per our policy) and eventually got it running perfectly normal. I recommend you trying the same. Hope it helps 🙂

I recently re-downloaded the DOSCareers App and the Test Yourself section isn’t functioning as intended–the individual questions in the various question sets appear, but the multiple choice answers do not. I’ve tried re-installing but no change. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve been using the DOS Careers app for quite a while and have found it incredibly useful. However, in the past couple days when trying to open it, the main menu appears for about five seconds and then the app closes. Your advice on how this can be remedied is very much appreciated!

RCFGuestJun 13, 2018 at 10:24 amPost count: 4656Are you still having issues with the mobile app? We haven’t heard any recent complaints. If you do find there’s an issue, please go to the app settings and submit the details (include device you’re using) in the Feedback section.
As far as resources that are available, please visit careers.state.gov for details, and go to the careers.state.gov/apps page where you can find links to our two key digital brochures (with companion apps).
