    What is the timeline for contacting applicants about next steps for the Courier position? The VA closed some time ago and I haven’t been contacted. Didn’t know if I missed the email or letter.

    I applied for the Courier position that closed in Aug 2019, and was notified that I passed the QEP in Feb. I’m waiting for my invite to the OA/written portion next. Anyone else in this same situation?

    Hey Cal,

    Same position here. I applied to the August 2019 opening and received an email earlier this month (Feb.) that I had passed the QEP and would be contacted to schedule the Written and Oral Assessment. The timeline they gave was 90-120 days. Hoping it’s on the shorter end of that time period. Good luck with the assessments!

    All Foreign Service Oral Assessments have been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19 (Corona Virus). We will reach out to candidates when we are ready to start scheduling again.

    Moderator,
    I too applied under the last vacancy announcement that closed 8/2019. February 4, 2020 I received a non-passing QEP notice via email; however, the next day I received a passing QEP notice. Is there anyway to determine which notice is valid? BTW…good luck to all candidates.

    We have started limited assessments in our DC location for all four Diplomatic Security skill codes. As we can only do limited assessments in a day and the number of applicants to be invited, it will take us a while to get to everyone. We appreciate your patience.

    Moderator,

    Is there any way to determine an applicant’s status regarding the assessments? I received an email 05 FEB 2020 stating that I had passed the Qualifications Evaluation Panel (QEP) and was moved forward to the next stage in the process, the written and oral assessments.

    I have emailed DSRecruitment@state.gov but never received a response.
