I mailed my security clearance packet via USPS, but I have heard several people say UPS or FedEx was recommended. The only place I saw this recommendation in the email we were sent was for revalidation. Is this going to slow down my security clearance at all? Should I resend everything via UPS or FedEx?

Your mailing via USPS shoud be fine. You do not need to resend. We thank you for your patience. We only received your original email at opening of business this morning, and your followup asking for a response was send less than three hours after that. Sometimes it takes a little while to get the correct answer. In any event, I apologize for the delay.

If it not received by the end of this week, please send an email to careers@state.gov and we will forward it over to the Student Programs Security desk for reply. Be sure to include your full name/contact info.
