Just as an informal poll among those who are still waiting to hear, which bureau did you apply for?

It seems from the Facebook group--but correct me if I am wrong-- that USUN, NEA, and Africa are still waiting.

Heard from China (alternate) and waiting on Africa.

I assume I will get a separate notice concerning Africa?

To clarify your response:

I was selected as an alternate for a position in china (Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs).

Does that means I will not be selected for any position in African Affairs (The 2nd bureau I applied to)?

I am waiting to hear back from INR, and as far as I know no one who applied to that bureau has been notified.
