Hi,

I've scoured the DOS website and USAJOBS, but I can find no mention of the length, start date, or end date of the Summer Clerical Program. I realize that this may vary depending on the Bureau or Office to which I'm assigned, but is there any information on the timeframe in past years?

Yes, it depends on the Bureau or Office to which you are assigned, but, for the most part, you are looking at the June-August timeframe. Your exact dates/work schedule would be worked out with your supervisor.

Because the Summer Clerical Program is a fill time job (40 hours a week) , what benefits would be entailed and would that possibly include leave with pay? (My family is planning a vacation)

All benefits afforded are listed in the vacancy announcement. Time off for vacation would be worked out with your supervisor.

I had briefly read it.......and when I recently went to look it was closed so I could not see it. I did apply though, and finished my application. Is there a link to the vacancy announcement? When will the exact date of the Summer Clerical Program be decided?

As the vacancy announcement is now closed, it cannot be accessed. Those selected/not selected should be advised as to their status sometime in February. The program starting date is something that is worked out with the supervisor.
