I was wondering if some "Primary" selectees are selected by both their 1st and 2nd choice bureaus?

Hi, Jessica,
This happens from time to time. When it does, the student is contacted by the Student Programs branch and asked to choose the bureau for which they would like to work. Once they choose, they are updated as a Primary for the chosen bureau. Then the other bureau can be notified and make alternate arrangements.

I was contacted directly by both of my choices and offered an internship by each. Both of my choices were in the same bureau but in different countries. I told one that I could accept and the other that I could not, but this was all through informal phone calls and emails. The Student Programs branch did not contact me and ask me to choose. Do I need to contact Student Programs?
