I recently had a misdemeanor from over seven years ago expunged from my record. Even though it has been expunged, would it continue to be a problem for me to be able to gain security clearance? I just want to make sure that I would still be an eligible candidate. Thanks!

Each case is reviewed on an individual basis, so we cannot give you a definitive reply. Should your candidacy proceed to the point where you speak with the background investigator, be upfront and honest about the misdemenor, etc.
