Hello! I was selected to be an intern at the US Embassy in Mexico City in the Bureau of Western Hemispheric Affairs. I was wondering how many interns are usually assigned to each embassy during the summer and how we find out which department we are in. Thanks!

The number of interns assigned to each embassy varies. It depends on Needs of the Service and budget. Also, not all embassies host interns. The WHA Bureau will determine which office you will be in at the Embassy. They will probably advise of of this directly.
