Fall Internship Question

In the internship brochure, it states that Bureau of African Affairs (AF) internships abroad are only offered during the summer. However, on the online application, it allows us to select a country preference. Does this mean that there will be internships offered abroad this fall for AF?
Also, the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs (EAP) states that internships are available throughout the year in Washington, D.C. and abroad. The online application states it is DC only. Is this correct?

Hi, Jim,
AF will offer overseas internship opportunities. EAP will only offer fall internships in the US.
