What bureaus/locations would best fit someone with scientific and technical interests? What locations have the most available positions? Does this vary depend on fall, spring, or summer employment? Also, what time is the likelihood of selection highest?

Within the Student Internship Information Brochure (available at our website) you will find descriptions for Bureaus/Offices offering internships. By reviewing the info, you should be able to determine which Bureaus/Offices may be a good fit. You can apply for up to two Bureaus or Offices. The Bureaus/Offices will decide their own needs based on budget and needs of the service. You will want to select the Bureaus/Offices that interest you the most. We have fewer applicants during the fall and spring, and that may sometimes be beneficial to those that apply for fall and spring internships--depending on needs and budget, of course.
