Hello, is the 2012 Summer Internship Program still in the selection process? I'm seeing mixed reports about the current status, so far I have not received any notification.

I spoke with a regional representative today and he said that the Summer 2012 candidates have already been selected.

Just realized 2012 Summer Internship and 2012 Summer Clerical are not the same. Hope there isn't anyone else confused by this!

Those selected for the 2012 Summer Internship Program have been advised as to their status. If you were an applicant for that program, and have not been notified as to your status, please send an email to: careers@state.gov and I will forward it over to the Student Programs Branch for direct reply. Be sure to include your full name/contact info.

Applicants for the Summer Clerical Program have not yet received their notifications.

To clarify: I have been "eligible for next step" since about mid January. It's my understanding 2012 Summer Clerical Interns will receive notifications for this next step by the end of February.

Yes, at this time, we anticipate that applicants for the 2012 Summer Clerical Program will be advised as to whether or not they have been selected prior to the end of February.
