Orientation with children

I posted this on the Careers tab as well, and am hoping for some families to chime in here. I was wondering if it is feasible to go to orientation with two small children. My husband is considering not joining us for training and meeting up afterwards at Post. We would be at Oakwood, Falls Church. The 2 yo I'm hoping to get in to Diplotots and the 7 yo needs to be enrolled in school. I would have no support system as family is not close by. Anyone else finish training as a single Mom and have it work out? I know it won't be easy.
