Can someone please clarify if Khartoum is still unaccompanied? I had read that the status might change this year. What is the latest.

According to bid documents, Khartoum is an "adults only" post, as Eligible Family Members 21 and older may accompany Foreign Service personnel to post. No children under 21 are allowed.
The rules regarding unaccompanied posts can and do change, depending on changing security and health situations.
