If about 100 recent OMS applicants are going to be offered OA's, how many OMS are hired in a fiscal year? I'm speaking from this past April 2012 pool of applicants. Thank you.

Did you see that number somewhere or did someone tell you that they are going to invite 100 to the OA? I thought they wouldn't publish that info anymore and I have been so curious. Out of the 100 or so that will be invited not all will pass then some will drop out based on the medical or security clearances and some from personal reasons. Hope this helps until Green Check is able to answer officially.

I am sure I read somewhere in the most recent forum that they were only going to offer about 100 OA's. I've been reading so much doing research that maybe I've mixed everything up! Lol! I'll look around and see if I can find it, of course in the next few days, and report what I find. Good luck to you.

The QEP is in progress. We anticipate inviting 100 or so of the most qualified candidates to the OA. Not all invitations will go out the same day nor will they be in any particular order.
We do not have a projected start date for the OAs. When you are contacted to schedule the OA you will have an opportunity to request a different date if you absolutely cannot make the proposed one.

Thanks Guest. I do remember that actually now. I am like you...so much research it's hard to remember everything that I read as well. Good luck to you as well. I am super nervous and having a hard time sleeping as I can't stop thinking about possible questions I will be asked at the OA and how I will answer them. CRAZY!

We do not know our hiring numbers for FY-13 as we do not yet have a budget. The number of OMS hired in any fiscal years is determined by our service needs and budget.
