Reading over some of the other posts relating to the FMO upcoming OA's, it appears that of the 820 applications received, approximately 100 will be invited to OA's to fill only 6 jobs this year. Is that correct? Thanks.

Yes. The hiring number for this year is six. However, this is subject to change, based on the Needs of the Service, and funding.
Those that pass the Oral Assessment and clearances will have their names added to the rank-order Register. Candidates may remain on the Register for 18 months (from the day they are added to the Register). Therefore, if there is hiring need in fiscal year 2013, those on the Register at that time may be considered.
